In order to promote the scientific, standardized and professional process of college students' mental health education, and give full play to the role of communication between student cadres, on May 17, the School of Materials launched the third training of mental health education for college students in Room 31447. Wei Xueqin, secretary of the Youth League Committee of our school, and counselors of all grades attended the opening ceremony. A total of 70 participants from various psychological committees and students interested in psychology participated in the training.
The training focused on four special topics, namely “On the duties and self-cultivation of psychological committee members”, “Caring for the soul, intervening in crisis”, “Discovery and monitoring of psychological crisis of college students”, “Practical psychological investigation methods and operational procedures”. The content relates to the basic knowledge, theory and operation of mental health education.
At the beginning of the training, Wei Xueqin made a mobilization speech. She put forward specific requirements and deployment for the college mental health work. Next, the first topic of the training course "On the duties and self-cultivation of the psychological committee" was opened by Wei Xueqin. From the perspective of her own positive energy, the simple judgment technique of psychological problems, the common psychological problems of college students, the management techniques of psychological stress, and the strategies of mental health care, she has deeply felt the important role of peer cadres in the work of mental health education.
